Traversing Temporalities
March to December 2022
Graphic by Alisha Stranges.
Posts, hosted by the LGBTQ Oral History Digital Collaboratory, featured a mix of external and internal contributors; I authored 6 and edited 6 posts by guest writers. As the series evolved, I transitioned from the traditional blog format to reflective forewords introducing short video interviews with fellow scholars and community narrators. Each entry emphasizes critical reflections on queer and trans* oral histories beyond the scope of their focus in time, shifting analysis to the multiple meanings that arise out of historical research, community archiving, and public history.
Pussy Palace Oral History Project
January 2020 to December 2022
I was the co-oral historian and research assistant for the LGBTQ Oral History Digital Collaboratory and The ArQuives’ project. I collaborated with team members on drafting interview guides, conducting interviews, conceptualizing and creating public outcomes, among other tasks.
